Tôi nghe như vầy:
Một thời đức Phật trú tại vườn Cấp Cô Độc, rừng cây Kỳ-đà, nước Xá-vệ. Bấy giờ, Thế Tôn bảo các Tỳ-kheo:
“Có một con người mà xuất hiện ở thế gian, liền có một người nhập đạo ở tại thế gian, và cũng đồng thời xuất hiện hai chân đế, ba giải thoát môn, pháp chân thật bốn đế, năm căn; sáu tà kiến diệt; bảy giác chi, tám đạo phẩm Hiền thánh, chín cõi cư trú của chúng sanh, mười lực của Như Lai, mười một từ tâm giải thoát.
“Một con người ấy là ai? Đó là đức Như Lai, A-la-hán, Chánh đẳng giác. Đó gọi là có một con người xuất hiện ở thế gian, liền có một người nhập đạo ở tại thế gian, và cũng xuất hiện ở thế gian có hai chân đế, ba giải thoát môn, pháp chân thật bốn đế, năm căn; sáu tà kiến diệt; bảy giác chi, tám đạo phẩm Hiền thánh, chín cói cư trú của chúng sanh, mười lực của Như Lai, mười một từ tâm giải thoát.
“Cho nên, này các Tỳ-kheo, nên khởi lòng cung kính đối với Như Lai. Vì vậy, này các Tỳ-kheo, hãy học điều này.”
Các Tỳ-kheo sau khi nghe những gì Phật dạy, hoan hỷ phụng hành.
聞如是：
一時，佛在舍衛國祇樹給孤獨 T 0561a18園。
爾時，世尊告諸比丘：「若有一人出現於 T 0561a19世，便有一人入道在於世間，亦有二諦、三 T 0561a20解脫門、四諦真法、五根、六邪見滅、七覺意、賢 T 0561a21聖八道品、九眾生居、如來十力、十一慈心 T 0561a22解脫，便出現於世。云何為一人？所謂多薩 T 0561a23阿竭、阿羅呵、三耶三佛。是謂一人出現於 T 0561a24世，便有一人入道在於世間，亦有二諦、三 T 0561a25解脫門、四諦真法、五根、六邪見滅、七覺意、賢 T 0561a26聖八道品、九眾生居、如來十力、十一慈心 T 0561a27解脫，便出現於世。是故，諸比丘！常興恭敬 T 0561a28於如來所，亦當作是學。」
爾時，諸比丘聞佛 T 0561a29所說，歡喜奉行。
T 0561b01 SC 1Thus I have heard: One time, the Buddha was staying at Anāthapiṇḍada’s Park in Jeta’s Grove of Śrāvastī.
SC 2It was then that the Bhagavān addressed the monks, “When one person appears in the world, the single-entry path arises in the world. … the two truths … the three gateways to liberation … the true teaching of four truths … the five faculties … the cessation of six wrong views … the seven factors of awakening … the eightfold noble path … the nine abodes of sentient beings … the ten powers of the Tathāgata … the eleven liberations of kindness arise in the world. Who is that one person? He is called the Tathāgata, the Arhat, the Correctly and Perfectly Awakened One. He is known as the one person who appears in the world, and then the single-entry path arises in the world. … the two truths … the three gateways to liberation … the true teaching of four truths … the five faculties … the cessation of six wrong views … the seven factors of awakening … the eightfold noble path … the nine abodes of sentient beings … the ten powers of the Tathāgata … the eleven liberations of kindness arise in the world.
SC 3“Therefore, monks, always pay respect to the Tathāgata. Thus, monks, you should train yourselves.”
SC 4When the monks heard what the Buddha taught, they rejoiced and approved.
