Tôi nghe như vầy:
Một thời, Phật ở tại vườn Cấp cô độc, rừng cây Kỳ-đà, nước Xá-vệ. Bấy giờ, Thế Tôn nói với các Tỳ-kheo:
“Thiện nam tử có lòng tin, chánh tín xuất gia, sống không gia đình, tự nghĩ: ‘Ta nên thuận theo pháp. Ta hãy an trụ với sự tu tập, tu tập nhiều về yểm ly đối với sắc; an trụ với sự tu tập, tu tập nhiều về yểm ly đối với thọ, tưởng, hành, thức.’ Thiện nam tử có lòng tin bèn an trụ với sự tu tập, tu tập nhiều về yểm ly đối với sắc; an trụ với sự tu tập, tu tập nhiều về yểm ly đối với thọ, tưởng, hành, thức, nên đối với sắc được yểm ly; đối với thọ, tưởng, hành, thức được yểm ly. Ta nói người ấy chắc chắn sẽ được thoát ly khỏi tất cả sanh, già, bệnh, chết, ưu bi, khổ não.”
Phật nói kinh này xong, các Tỳ-kheo nghe những gì Đức Phật dạy, hoan hỷ phụng hành.
如是我聞：
一時，佛住舍衛國祇樹給孤T 0012a19獨園。
爾時，世尊告諸比丘：「信心善男子正信T 0012a20非家出家，自念：『我應隨順法，於色當多T 0012a21修厭住，於受、想、行、識多修厭住。』信心善男T 0012a22子正信非家出家，於色多修厭住，於受、想、T 0012a23行、識多修厭住已，於色得離，於受、想、行、T 0012a24識得離。我說是等，悉離一切生、老、病、死、憂、T 0012a25悲、惱、苦。」
佛說此經已，諸比丘聞佛所說，歡T 0012a26喜奉行。
T 0012a27 SC 1Thus have I heard: One time, the Buddha was staying at Anāthapiṇḍada’s Park in Jeta’s Grove of Śrāvastī.
SC 2 It was then that the Bhagavān addressed the monks, “A good son of correct faith who’s not at home and has left home thinks to himself, ‘I should follow the teaching. I will often cultivate disillusionment with form … feeling … conception … volition … often cultivate disillusionment with consciousness.’
SC 3“A good son who is correctly faithful, not at home, and has left home then often cultivates disillusionment with form … feeling … conception … volition … often cultivates disillusionment with consciousness. He becomes disillusioned with form … feeling … conception … volition … becomes disillusioned with consciousness. He then attains the escape from form … feeling … conception … volition … attains the escape from consciousness. I say that he will be free from all birth, old age, illness, death, grief, sorrow, pain, and trouble.”
SC 4After the Buddha spoke this sūtra, the monks who heard what the Buddha taught rejoiced and approved.
