Vi-n 2 Tại đấy, Thế Tôn gọi các Tỷ-kheo:
Vi-n 3 —Này các Tỷ-kheo, hãy tu tập Thiền định. Này các Tỷ-kheo, Tỷ-kheo có tâm định tĩnh, sự vật như thật hiển hiện. Và sự vật gì như thật hiển hiện?
Vi-n 4 Mắt vô thường như thật hiển hiện. Các sắc vô thường như thật hiển hiện. Nhãn thức vô thường như thật hiển hiện. Nhãn xúc vô thường như thật hiển hiện. Phàm duyên nhãn xúc khởi lên cảm thọ gì, lạc, khổ, hay bất khổ bất lạc; cảm thọ ấy vô thường như thật hiển hiện.
Vi-n 5-8. Tai … Mũi … Lưỡi … Thân …
Vi-n 9 Ý vô thường như thật hiển hiện. Các pháp vô thường như thật hiển hiện. Ý thức vô thường như thật hiển hiện. Ý xúc vô thường như thật hiển hiện. Phàm duyên ý xúc khởi lên cảm thọ gì, lạc, khổ, hay bất khổ bất lạc; cảm thọ ấy vô thường như thật hiển hiện.

Cakkhuṁ aniccanti yathābhūtaṁ okkhāyati, rūpā aniccāti yathābhūtaṁ okkhāyati, cakkhuviññāṇaṁ aniccanti yathābhūtaṁ okkhāyati, cakkhusamphasso aniccoti yathābhūtaṁ okkhāyati, yampidaṁ cakkhusamphassapaccayā uppajjati vedayitaṁ sukhaṁ vā dukkhaṁ vā adukkhamasukhaṁ vā tampi aniccanti yathābhūtaṁ okkhāyati …pe…

At one time the Buddha was staying near Rājagaha in Jīvaka’s Mango Grove.
There the Buddha addressed the mendicants:
“Mendicants, develop immersion.
For a mendicant with immersion, things become truly clear.
And what becomes truly clear?
It becomes truly clear that the eye, sights, eye consciousness, and eye contact are impermanent. And it also becomes truly clear that the painful, pleasant, or neutral feeling that arises dependent on eye contact is impermanent.
It becomes truly clear that the ear … nose … tongue … body …
mind, ideas, mind consciousness, and mind contact are impermanent.
And it also becomes truly clear that the painful, pleasant, or neutral feeling that arises dependent on mind contact is impermanent.
Mendicants, develop immersion.
For a mendicant with immersion, things become truly clear.”
